Organized & Pretty Kitchen Sink

The kitchen sink is one of those areas of the house that is quite difficult to keep tidy and looking pleasing to the eye at the same time. Washing up liquid and sponge scourers don't make pretty sights but, I have found a way to make them look pretty good and pretty pretty ;)

The equation is simple: little cute tray + oil bottle + bathroom soap dispenser and tumbler holder.

The little tray will corral all the accessories together.

The oil drizzler will contain the washing up liquid (I usually dilute it with water otherwise you would spend quite some time waiting for the detergent to come out of the bottle).

I use the tumbler holder for hiding the sponge and the soap dispenser for the hand wash liquid. As these last two are bathroom accessories; I'd suggest to get ones that don't look too "bathroomie" (you don't want anyone getting confused with what room of the house they are in).

That's it! Just a quick way to get your kitchen sink looking a little more loved and less cluttered.

How do you organise this part of the kitchen? Do you have any tips? Let us know by commenting below :) .

  6. I love pretty organisation posts. That's a brilliant idea using an oil drizzler. We need to just rip out all our kitchen and start afresh, it's the last room in the house to be done. I'll keep this in mind when we do it

  7. What a really cute idea, I would never have thought of using these things in this way. My sink is so cluttered, I will definitely be using this

  8. Love your sink area - it looks so clean and fresh. What a great idea putting dish wash into an oil drizzler. So much nicer to look at than a plastic washing up liquid bottle.

  10. This is a great idea! I must admit that my sink area is not the tidiest but I will definitely try this and decant some of the liquids into prettier bottles.

  11. I love this! I love how you've used the oil drizzler! We actually have a little organising thing from Joseph Joesph which my mother in law bought us (she's very organised) and its really useful to have a space to put the washing up liquid and sponges etc x

  12. Looks gorgeous my god my sink never looks this nice and tidy! I have a little tray though too which I find really handy for keeping things organised, the oil drizzle too, so much prettier than a bottle of washing up liquid! Eimear at The Two Darlings
