Oh my goodness! It's been ages since the last time I popped by this little blog of mine but so many exciting -and some of them life changing- things have happened in the Eight household during that period that kept me away from here!. I'll tell you all about it in this post and I will also tell you the plans I have for the future of this online space.
If you follow me on Facebook, you probably already know this but if not: Life in Eight and the girl writing this post have been featured in the Good Home Magazine! I know right?! One of my favourite decor magazines ever!. Hard to believe eh? You can see it with your own eyes :)
At the end of 2013 - and despite not actually looking for one- we fell in love with a house so badly that we ended up selling our previous one and buying the new one within a couple of weeks. I know I know; totally crazy but luckily the gamble turned out in our favor. Yay!
But the most amazing thing happened two weeks after we moved in: we found out that a sweet baby was going be part of our lives only 40 weeks after that morning. So in July 2014 we welcomed into this world our gorgeous and not so tiny daughter.
Between the pregnancy and her birth, the decorating of our all-white-home has been put on hold but we are now starting to get up-to date with it and I'll be sharing it all with you in here! I'll be also sharing loads of organizing projects and a thing or two I've learned during these last 9 months as a mummy. Pinky promise that I won't be filling the space with baby related stuff; (well, just a little bit)...
By the way, you can now also find me on Instagram where you can see sneak peeks of the house and little snippets of our life.
So lovely reader, I do hope you hang around. I'd love to connect with you so please don't be shy and leave your comment or chat with me via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail etc.
I'll be back soon. See you then..
Congratulations Gaby! Nice to see you back :) xx
