Identify Your Keys Easily

Now that the winter days are with us, bringing with them cold and darkness among other undesirables (snow, frost, etc.), the last thing I want is to spend valuable minutes at the front door with my near-to-frozen hands trying to find the right key to open the door to the marvellous world of my warm home.
All the keys to my house are pretty similar so recently I decided that enough was enough and needed to do something about it so I gave my keys a face-lift, a kind of makeover.

If you like them and want to give it a try, why not follow these simple steps?:

1) Start by removing the keys from the key-ring using a staple remover. (It will save you having to do your nails afterwards!) This is not one of my original and brilliant ideas just a good tip that I saw somewhere over the blogosphere some time ago.

2) Choose a few nail varnishes of contrasting colours and start painting the keys.

3) If you go over the edges don’t panic, grab a little bit of cotton wool, wrapped around one of those tools that are use to pull your cuticles (no idea what they are called) -a toothpick or orange stick will do just as well - soak the stick in polish remover and carefully touch up the problematic areas.

That’s it! Nice and easy! Do you have any other ways of identifying your keys?
